EAST DONYLAND / ROWHEDGE
VENETIA s.y.
Crew lists from Richard John Cranfield's fishing smack Ellen 321CK show that his son Alexander was a crew member of Venetia 1910-1913.

THE YACHTSMAN – 5 December 1912 – “At Wivenhoe last week, Mr. F.W. Sykes’s 568-ton s.y. Venetia got foul of the sailing barge Nelson, while the yacht was coming out of dry dock. Nelson had her sprit, topmast and mizzen gear carried away, and Venetia also sustained some damage.”
