FIELD – Saturday 6 August 1898. “The s.y. Normania, 544 tons, which has been on charter to Mr. Baird, and had a trip to the Baltic, has been purchased by Mr. H. Osborne O’Hagan. The vessel is now refitting at Gosport for a cruise.”
FIELD – Saturday 17 September 1898. “WIVENHOE.- The Varuna, Mr. Higgins, has arrived in the Colne from the Mediterranean, and is being painted by Messrs. Forrestt. The Normania, Mr. Osborn O’Hagan, has also arrived in the Colne; as has Walrus, s.y., Mr. C.B. Stamp.”
LONDON EVENING STANDARD – Saturday 3 December 1898. “Among the vessels seeking shelter in Dover docks are the fine three-masted steam yacht Normania and a French torpedo destroyer.”

FIELD – Saturday 10 December 1898. “YACHT INTELLIGENCE.- COWES. The steam yachts White Ladye, Hiawatha, and Normania arrived in the Roads early this week from neighbouring ports en route to the Mediterranean. Owing to strong south-west winds and altogether unfavourable weather these yachts remained at anchor for several days, but they have proceeded on their voyage.”
